IN ANSWER TO DANA'S QUESTION

Dana-

in answer to the question you asked about the 2-disc RODAN/WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS, I just checked out the discs and here's how it breaks down:

- RODAN is full screen in both the Japanese and English versions. I'm not certain, but I don't think Toho really went widescreen for the monster epics until either KING KONG VERSUS GODZILLA (1962) or GODZILLA VERSUS MOTHRA (1964).

-WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS is in glorious widescreen in both the original and the English versions.

So even though Amazon neglects to list the widescreen feature in the item's specs, you can always TRUST YER BUNCHE!

THANK YOU!

Side note: went to the local Best Buy to get it today.
Shipped ti be on shelf Tuesday. Today is Thursday. After a few minutes in having 2 sales clerks help look for it ("er, it's, er, like in the, um, computer, so, like, it's, um, gotta be here, like, somewhere...")

It was.
In the back room.
Still in the shipping boxes.
Nobody willing to get it.

("There's, like, so many boxes, um, you know...back there... that nobody could, like, ever find it. 'Cuz there's, uh, so many boxes. You know. Back there.")

The lesson:
1.) Nobody should ever bitch about the Direct Market.
2) Don't ever bother getting in the car when it's on Amazon or eBay.

Thanks again!
Trust for the Bunche
